Get Prepared for the Next: How to build an Effective Scientific Research Project, tools and tricks (2CFU)
Prof. Giulia Grancini
When: June-July
The course aims to provide the essential tools to develop the soft skills required to successfully  write  a scientific research project. The key points that every scientific project – transversely from the research topic – must contain will be discussed. First of all the topic of the scientific CV will be addressed and discussed. Following, examples of research projects (on the basis of winning projects, with a focus as example on individual projects such as Marie Curie) will be presented and discussed and instructions on how to draft a scientific project will be provided. The main project sections (abstract, WP, objectives, Gantt, Milestones, Risk Assessment, Deliverables, Management) will be analyzed. Finally, the possible European calls will be briefly highlighted and the relative links provided.
Final Exam: students have to submit their CV and, divided into groups, a research project (max 4 pages).
